Bug 516412 changed behaviour from previous week. Now pressing enter X doesn't freeze anymore but crash and fall back to GDM login.

The 'restart is required' button wasn't shown after installation, it was necessary to do it manually

Passedcaseyjp2010-02-25 14:10

Installation worked normally.
I also have the enter key "restarts gdm" issue, but this seems a workaround to the enter key hanging gdm.

Ubiquity bug #524993 disappeared. "Pressing enter bug" #516412 remained with same symptoms as xdatap1 had.

After relogin, the installation went just fine.

Installation went fine, however on every login there is screen corruption and pressing Enter (first time) cause GDM to crash and restart itself.

Pressing Enter at login doesn't hang the computer, but crashes GDM(?) and another login attempt has to be made. I'll mark the test case as passed anyhow. jockey still reports that the prop. driver isn't in use.

Jockey displays "No proprietary drivers are in use on this system." Proprietary drivers not available to install. Manual install succeeded, however nvidia-xconfig had to be run manually to activate the driver.
