| shell hangs up on a Vostro 3500 laptop and does not boot to the GUI or even the Command line. Should be a way to link the card directly to the screen.

| NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT.
Cannot boot with proprietary graphics driver for GeForce 8800 GT card. EDIT: Updates for 19.march.2011 fixed a lot of things. I can now boot into the Unity-desktop. Please see the bug-report.

| NVidia 8600GT, same bug as previous releases. 2D fallback fails to bring a graphic enviroment so the option must be added logging with a textual terminal. Definetly too hard for a newbie.
