Nvidia proprietary drivers fallback test failed: do not hardcode
"Driver=nvidia" in xorg.conf (#522061)

I got the 'low-graphics mode' screens on starting, told it to reconfigure the graphics and restarted. It did then install nouveau. After getting to the desktop, I used Hardware Drivers, removed the existing "nvidia-current", and installed "nvidia-current". Then restart to have the hardware driver in use again.

Fell back to low-res display

Could not reinstall proprietary driver because jockey said it was "activated and currently in use", even though the display was low-res. I could not find a bug for this.

same as ratcheer, got the nvidia driver back by doing apt-get remove then install then reboot.
