NVIDIA GUI config entry is visible in alacarte but had to uncheck and recheck in order to actually access it from the panel menu.

Nvidia GUI config tool disappears from System -> Administration -> NVIDIA X Server Settings after restarting when hardware driver is installed. This should be considered a serious bug since NVidia card users can not perform most of the configuration options without the config tool.

Confirming bug 522969. Btw, if you open screen settings it ask you if it would open proprietary panel instead.
